FAI-X project uses NFC technology to verify clothing authenticity and offers a mobile app for wardrobe management. It also includes an admin site for managing clothing data. The project began by compiling the client’s existing clothing information and linking it to NFC codes, which led to the successful completion of a demo stage.
The project is built around features that prioritize authenticity, convenience, and organization, delivering a seamless experience for both consumers and administrators.
A significant challenge in this project was effectively organizing and integrating the client's existing clothing and NFC code data. The complex task of defining relationships among these datasets and mapping them for use in a live demo required detailed planning. Overcoming these challenges allowed the team to successfully bring the project to its demonstration stage, offering a proof of concept for future implementation.
We started by setting the system's goals and creating a development roadmap. Then, we refined the planned features, designed the system structure, and visually implemented the user interface to enhance user experience. Finally, we developed the system, verified its functionality, and conducted thorough testing.
This project highlights the power of NFC technology to improve both clothing authenticity verification and personal wardrobe management. With an easy-to-use app and a robust admin site for detailed information management, this solution transforms how users interact with and maintain their clothing. The collaboration with the client, combined with innovative design and planning, made this project a successful demonstration of cutting-edge wearable tech integration.
